I wrote Shakti in the hopes of offering a healing balm for the planet and to cultivate love, harmony & balance. While my driving theme throughout the album is the divine feminine energy, the Hindu tradition has taught me that we also must have the divine masculine (Shiva), that they cannot exist without the other. 

Sanskrit mantras have incredibly transformed my life and I literally couldn’t stop myself from creating the music that was spilling out of me to overflow. I have been utterly transformed and have healed deep traumatic wounds because of this album. My hope is that it moves you deeply as well.
